A vast, unspoilt area of over one hundred hectares, the state forest of Huelgoat is home to many Breton legends.
Strange rocky chaos, due, according to the legend, to Gargantua who threw there the rocks found on its way, the place shelters the "Ménage de la Vierge", the Roman camp of Artus, the trembling rock, the fairies puddle and other curiosities. Crossed by many paths, you will find there, during the right season, some of the best mushrooms (ceps, sheep's-foot and girolles). Be vigilant and insightful ! Then maybe you will meet the inhabitants of the forest : the Korrigans, the breton cousins of the Leprechauns !
